Guetenberg:


Johannes Gutenberg was born between 1394 and 1400. He was a German goldsmith and business man. In 1438, Johannes Gutenberg became a business arangement for Andreas Dritzehn, who funded his inventions and experiments in printing. In 1450, Johannes became a second business arangnment with a German business man, Johannes Fust. Johannes Fust lent Johannes Guteneberg the money for Gutenberg start a printing business and build a LARGE Gutenberg press, their projects a inventions made the Gutenberg Bible. Johannes Gutenberg died around February 3, 1468. Which means he was about 70 years old. That is pretty long age in the 1400's.Johannes Gutenberg was the inventor was the first movable printing press, known as the Gutenberg Press. It made people life in the 1400's a WHOLE lot easier, because it printed off 300 to 500 books each day. Also, it made book a lot cheaper and affordable for people that can't afford usual priced books. So people in the 1400's had tons of books. Another thing that the Gutenberg Press made, was the Gutenberg Bible.






William Tyndale:

Who was he?
He was the capitian of the reformers, he was also their spiritual leader at this point in history.
He was the first man ever to print the new testament in English. He was called, "Archtitect of the English language."
Tyndale's many different phrases are still In our langauge even today.

William Tyndale was born at the North Nibley, England in the year of 1494. His death was at Vilvoorden, Belgium in the year of 1536 on October 6.
He was descended from the ancient Northumbrian family. Tyndale was scholar who translated the Bible into English. He was the first person to appreciate and use the Moveable Printing Press made by Guentenberg. He used the Printing Press to rewrite the Bible into the early English language. When Tyndale was translating the Bible he sometimes included his notes and point of veiw. When people found out what he was doing Philip his best friend who was also an Agent for Henry the VIII and the English Ecclesiastics, betrayed him when he found out and William was myrdered for what he did. William Tyndale was very smart. At the age of 21 he received his mastors degree in the year of 1515. He was fluent in 8 different languages, the languages were German, English, French, Italian, Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. In about 1520 William Tyndale had become a tutor for the family of Sir John Walsh,at Little Sodbury in Gloucestershire.He devoted his entire life to the study of the bible. Tyndales arguments with the Roman dignitaries, mostly of his preaching, befriended much opposition which made him get removed from London in about 1523 in October.Bunyan was the auther of the book "Pilgrams Progress"He wrote this book when he was inprisoned in 1676. "Pilgrams Progress" is the most susuccessful allegory ever writen.




John Bunyan:

Who was he?
John Bunyan was born in Elstow, England, November 1628. John Bunyan had a very small amount of school in his life time.Bunyan followed his fathers footsteps and was in the tinker trade business.John bunyan married a girl named Mary in the year 1655 and they lived in Elstow, England until the death of Mary later on. After her death he disided to move to Bedford, he agian married in 1659. Later on in the year 1653 he was invited to a batist church there in Bedford. In the year 1655 John Bunyan became a dacon and a preacher. In the year 1658 He was indicated because he didn't have a license for preaching.
In 1653 he was taken to a county jail in silver street, Bedford.he was in prision for 12 years, he was eventualy let out and after that he became the paster of the Bedford church. In March in the year 1675 John was imprisoned for preaching without a license. The athorities became weary of him and didn't stop him again.Bunyan was the auther of the book "Pilgrams Progress"He wrote this book when he was inprisoned in 1676. "Pilgrams Progress" is the most susuccessful allegory ever writen. He helped the Renaissance by making the Pilgram's Progress into all different languages, sooooo that everybody could read the book.
